Alpine Base & Edge, located in Boulder, Colorado, is a premier alpine race center and ski/board tuning shop.

From the latest World Cup base grinding equipment from Wintersteiger, waxing technologies from Toko and Montana including the new Wax Future Infra-Red Waxing System, and Ceramic Edge Finishing, to our experienced and certified tuning technicians, we provide quality custom race services including equipment, binding mounting/testing, and accessories for all competitive skiers.

We are a certified Atomic, Nordica, Rossignol, Volkl, and Marker Race Service Center. Our shop features a broad range of tuning tools and waxes from Toko, FKS, Sun Valley Ski Tools (SVST), and Holmenkol, and we provide free tuning clinics twice a week, so customers can learn how to maintain their own equipment between service tunes.

Through our extensive supplier representative network, we are able to stock the latest demo race and expert skis, including Rockered and All Terrain models, for sale before they have been introduced to the market. Alpine Base & Edge features bargain priced previous season items from our suppliers in our extensive E-Bay Store and on our website in the “Clearance” sections.

Race accessories from Slytech, POC, Scott USA, and Atomic include protective gear (shin, hand, and fore-arm guards), helmets, chin guards, goggles, poles (SL, GS, & DH) back protectors and stealth jackets. We stock boot lifters, wide brakes, binding lifts, and racing plates so you can customize your racing equipment for maximum performance.

While ski racing tunes are our specialty, we tune alpine skis, snowboards, alpine carving boards, telemark, AT skis, and touring skis (as long as they have an edge).
