The 2010/2011 Double Deck Vario Cut 157cm features the most advanced technology ever introduced for carving skis. The variable side cut and adaptive flex make this one of the most responsive skis we've tried. The harder you push the ski, the tighter the radius becomes and the faster you ski the more stable it gets, creating a carver's dream for the hard packed and ice. Here's how it works: the ski reacts to the skiers impulses by automatically adapting its radius and by providing the optimal dynamics for each individual skiing situation. Two elastometer-mounted glide connections between the upper and lower deck provide optimum shock absorption. In short, as you ski more aggressively, the tip and tail grow in width in relation to the 75mm waist, thus decreasing the turning radius of the ski, while the double deck system makes the ski feel longer at speed. This is the ski we suggest for those who fell in love with the Metron B5i series that was discontinued last season. The ski comes with the NTL 12 Sport binding. These skis include the Atomic NTL 12 binding, with a DIN range from 4 to 12. The bindings are not installed. This is a demo ski.
